Author and Illustrator at TXLA 2019

Our first year exhibiting at the Texas Library Association Conference here in Austin, TX. We had the chance to meet a lot of local school librarians and public librarians all over Texas. This summer’s theme for libraries is “A Universe of Learning”, so it felt like ‘Cassandra and the Night Sky’ fit in nicely. Lines snaked around tables in the exhibit hall as librarians waiting patiently to get their book signed by their favorite author. It was inspiring to see all the workshops and opportunities for learning and collaborating that TXLA brought together. Definitely a conference worth experiencing!
