Patton Elementary Author Visit

Reading “Cassandra and the Night Sky” to Austin ISD Patton Elementary’s 3rd, 4th and 5th graders was a great way to end the school year. Thank you to Patton Elementary’s librarian Mrs. Orenstein for hosting me.  The students heard the story and learned about the summer constellations as well as what planets and other deep sky objects are up with a Stellarium planetarium software tour. They also learned about S.O.S. which in my world means… you guessed it… Summer of Stargazing!!!  Have a good summer Patton!
